All The Odds For Sunday and Monday’s NRL Games
August 20th, 2014 by TJ DilferRound 24 of the 2014 NRL season is upon us, and the ladder is starting to take shape, with the teams at the top pulling away from the teams at the bottom. But there’s still plenty to play for in the middle of the ladder, with just four points separating the Storm in fifth from the Dragons in eleventh. We’ve got all the Round 24 odds you need as we look ahead to a round that could break the hearts of some and kindle the hopes of others…
The Dragons are in action on Sunday afternoon, and favourites to beat the Titans at odds of $1.45 on Sportsbet as of right now. After a good win last time out, the Dragons will be nurturing hopes of that last finals spot, but they’ll have to win on Sunday to keep the hope alive, and the Titans ran ladder-leaders Manly close in Round 23, so they won’t make things easy…
Elsewhere on Sunday there’s a game that could be a close one between the Warriors and the Roosters, and it’s a big one for both clubs. The Roosters will have an eye on the Storm behind them in fifth, while the Warriors will know that anything other than a win will leave them vulnerable to the sides below them, and their eighth place on the ladder might not be theirs by the end of the round unless they record a win. Also on Sunday there’s a game that could be the wooden spoon decider between the Sharks and the Raiders: two points will feel like a decent cushion for whichever side wins this one!
And on Monday, make sure you catch the Panthers – Storm game: a clash between third and fifth on the ladder that’s as good an indicator as any as to the sort of form these teams could take forward into the finals. The Storm are the favourites to win – get all the Round 24 odds for this one and all the rest of the games by following the link.
