Racing Odds: Godolphin Showing Strength

And the Godolphin operation has been working in recent times at breaking into the Australian Racing scene – or rather on extending their international success to our shores…
It’s trainer John O’Shea who’s at the forefront of the Godolphin effort in Australia, and things have been going well, too. He went on record very early in his tenure as Godolphin’s head trainer in Australia to make a commitment to improving and making the most out of the stable’s 2-year-olds. Given that as his stated goal, you’d say things were going very much according to plan for O’Shea, who had five good wins behind him going into last weekend, and picked up another very pleasing couple at Rosehill, too. It’s all part of what must be a very satisfying trend for O’Shea, who is beginning to see real success with Godolphin horses, and who’s in the process of collecting the right staff – jockeys included – to gather even more wins. Which all means that we should be keeping an eye out for the Godolphin horses in the Racing odds when they come up: they look like they’re going to be more than competitive in Australian Racing.
