AFL: All The Odds For Sunday’s Fixtures
May 29th, 2014 by TJ DilferThe end of Round Eleven on Sunday brings us close to the halfway point of the season, and there has already been plenty to enjoy. We’ve got all sorts of Round Eleven odds for you to check out, but it’s time, too, to start looking again at the AFL odds and futures for the business end of the season. Make sure you’re sitting comfortably for Sunday’s games, too – there are eight teams in action, and plenty to look forward to!
Hawthorn are just about as overwhelmingly favourites as it’s possible to be against GWS – you’ll get $16.00 for the Sydney side to upset the reigning Premiers, so we won’t be looking there for a bet to place on Sunday. Fremantle are rightly favourites, too, when they take on Western Bulldogs – so you can expect to see those two digging themselves deeper into the top eight with wins at the back end of Round Eleven.
Which is exactly what Gold Coast will be looking to do when they face Adelaide. The Suns have put together a fantastic first half of the 2014 season, finding form on the back of Gary Ablett’s own consistent brilliance, and this clash with Adelaide is a bit of a litmus test for their season: they’ve struggled against the Crows in the past, but they’ve come a long way. Make sure you’re tuned in for what could be a cracker!
And finish your weekend and Round Eleven off with North Melbourne against West Coast, a tussle between the teams in eighth and ninth spots on the ladder. Like Adelaide, the Eagles don’t want to be in that group of four that’s sitting outside the top eight, and this is as good a chance as any to drag themselves up into those top spots.
