AFL Odds: Blues, Bulldogs and Crows In Action Sunday
May 21st, 2014 by TJ DilferAll eyes will be turned to the Adelaide Oval on Saturday for what could be a crucial encounter between Hawthorn and Port Adelaide, last year’s premiers against this year’s form side so far. But, come Sunday, there are a couple of games that could help define the seasons, for better or worse, of three clubs currently sitting outside the top eight, in a pack that’s at least a win or two outside the finals spots, and full of sides that need to be making their move sooner rather than later. We’ve got all your Round Ten odds at the other side of that link – keep reading for more!
Western Bulldogs are in action against Gold Coast, and it’s a mark of the Suns’ strong 2014 form that they’re the side sitting in fifth, and looking to propel themselves into the top four with another win. The Bulldogs are also back to winning ways, and fresh from a bye, but they will have it all to do against a Suns side that have looked slick, and seem to be on course to achieve their pre-season ambition of finals football.
Adelaide and Carlton contest the other game provided for your viewing pleasure on Sunday, and it could be a pleasure indeed. Both of these teams are back to winning ways after starts to the 2014 season that they’re working hard to forget, and Sunday’s clash between them looks set to be a close-fought one. Either way, it will help the ambitions of one of the two, and it could prove a serious set-back to the other.
