AFL Odds: Lots To Enjoy This Saturday
July 2nd, 2014 by TJ DilferRound 16 is here, and we’ve got a new ladder leader after the Power slipped up against near-neighbours Adelaide, and the Hawks out-muscled Gold Coast in the wet. By the time Saturday comes around, Hawthorn will already have made a bid to hold onto the top spot against North Melbourne, and they’re favourites in that game. There’s lots more Round 16 odds waiting for you, including a few tasty-looking fixtures in a busy afternoon…
Adelaide, the Suns and Port Adelaide are all in action on Saturday – the Crows will be hoping that they can maintain the momentum they’ve got after the great win over the Power, and they’ll be confident that they can do just that against GWS. The Crows have struggled with their consistency this season, but there’s no better time to find themselves some form. Both the Power and Gold Coast need to bounce back from defeats in Round 15 – Port Adelaide to keep the pressure on at the top, and the Suns to keep their dreams of finals footie alive. Port Adelaide take on Essendon and go in as the favourites at odds of $1.26, while the Suns face a tricky contest against Collingwood that they go into as the underdogs at odds of $2.15.
