Melbourne Cup Racing Odds: Red Cadeaux At His Highest Weight In 2014

He’s going to be a feature of the Racing odds, too, and not just because he’s a familiar name, though the news coming out of Racing Victoria last week was interesting for Red Cadeaux, when the list of weights for the 2014 Melbourne Cup was published.

September 26th, 2014 by Pom de TurfOne of the most compelling things about the Melbourne Spring is the chance to see emerging talent in action, and it’s great to see horses emerge one year and go on to bigger and better things in the years that follow. And we think that Kuro might be a real prospect for the future. Keep an eye out for him in the Racing odds for this Spring Festival, though we’re not sure where he’s heading – he’s certainly a name you’ll be seeing again if all goes well for him!

September 25th, 2014 by Pom de TurfTerravista is always a horse to watch in the sprints, and he came into The Shorts at Royal Randwick last week with five wins from his five starts at distances shorter than 1300m – which gives you an idea of the things that are expected from him. One of those expectations is that he will challenge Lankan Rupee at some point over the 2014 Spring Season, and it’ll be worth looking out for him in the Racing odds as that ‘Showdown of the Sprinters’ looms…
And Terravista looked to be building some good form at the weekend as he demolished the field in The Shorts to claim a good win.
