Harness Racing odds: Majorly Foxy Styx Back To Racing
October 17th, 2014 by Pom de TurfAfter eight months out that must have felt like a lifetime to her owners and trainers, talented Harness Racing star Majorly Foxy Styx is set to make a return to the track and to the Racing odds, hoping to pick up just where she left off on a rising trajectory that could see her at the top of the sport.
And she couldn’t have got a better draw for her return to the track – she’ll be in Barrier 1 when she steps out in the third heat of the Sovereign Beejay Preux Chevalier Mares Pace at Gloucester Park on Friday night, and she’s expected by many to set the pace and win it right from the get-go. That said, she faces a stiff challenge from classy 5-year-old Arma Express, who despite a less-than-ideal barrier draw will try to put as much pressure on Majorly Foxy Styx as possible. Their clash will be the highlight of Friday night’s Harness Racing, it looks like, and we’ve got all the Racing odds you need ahead of the showdown!
Elsewhere in the race, and perhaps unfairly overshadowed by the two mares inside her in the barrier draw, is Gary Hall-trained 3-year-old Dontdoubtme, who is herself making a return to racing following a spell after her last appearance back in May. Like Arma Express, she’ll struggle with a poor barrier draw, but that won’t stop her catching the eye, we suspect, of more than a few punters…
