NRL: All The Odds For A Mother’s Day Clash
May 8th, 2014 by TJ DilferIt’s Mother’s Day on Sunday, so you might have to set the old telly box to record the Dragons against the Bulldogs, but you might want to make sure you do that, as this could be a cracker! We’ve got all of your Round Nine odds ready for you, including for this crucial Sunday night clash – just follow that link there! The Dragons started so well, but they’re staring down a 4-4 record now, and they need a result pretty soon – they’re on the back of four losses in five games, and that makes fans, players and coaches twitchy.
But can the Dragons get that vital win against the Bulldogs? Sitting on the top of the ladder and on top of a five-game winning streak that has lasted more than a month, the Bulldogs are in good shape going into Round Nine. You’d even say that they haven’t put together a full 80-minute performance yet, and if they can raise their game after the Rep Week break, then it could be more one-sided than the bookies are picking it at the moment. You’ll get odds of $2.70 for the Dragons, and it’s the Bulldogs who are the favourites with odds of $1.49. The challenge for St George will be to contain the hugely impressive Bulldogs big men, who have clocked up some serious yardage already in the 2014 campaign – and that is a tough challenge indeed. The bookies don’t think the Dragons can withstand the onslaught, and we only wonder why the odds for Canterbury-Bankstown aren’t shorter. We’ve been wrong before, of course…
