NRL: All Your Odds For The Weekend’s Big Games
July 23rd, 2014 by TJ DilferWith just eight points separating the ladder leaders Manly and the Eels down in 13th spot, there’s plenty on the line as we go into the weekend of Round 20, and there look like there will be some key clashes that will shape the ladder – and potentially make or break a season or two – once the dust settles after the Raiders take on the Rabbitohs on Monday night. If you need them, we’ve got all sorts of NRL odds waiting for you on the other end of the link – we’re getting to the business end of the season now, and there are some interesting odds on offer…
The Titans and the Eels are two of the sides stuck on 20 points and desperate to stay in touch with the finals spots, so this Saturday’s game is a massive one for both clubs. It could be a close one, too – the Titans go in as favourites with odds of $1.72, but they’re not the favourites by much. Adding even more spice to the meeting of the Titans and the Eels will be the knowledge that the Cowboys, who are another of the sides on 20 points, face a tough test against the third-placed Bulldogs. If the Bulldogs pick up the points – which they’ll need to do to keep the pressure on at the top – then the Cowboys will be leapfrogged by whoever wins the Titans-Eels clash.
It gets even tighter in that scrap for the finals places on Sunday, when the Dragons and the Tigers meet. Unless the Warriors can overturn the ladder leaders – and they haven’t been anything like consistent in 2014 – they can be caught by the Dragons or overtaken by the Tigers, dragging them right back into the battle for a finals spot. We’ll definitely be watching, and we’ll have all the Round 20 odds on hand when we do – it’s going to be an exciting round, whatever happens!
