NRL: Friday’s Odds See Rabbitohs, Cowboys Favourites
July 15th, 2014 by TJ DilferRound 19 kicks off on Friday night with a couple of fixtures that see the Rabbitohs and the Cowboys as favourites, and there might be eight ladder places between them, but there’s only four points, so North Queensland fans and players will be looking to collect the points on Friday and see if they can make a bid for the finals spots, especially with the Rabbitohs coming off two straight defeats. We’ve got all the odds for these two games for you, of course, and plenty more Round 19 odds, besides…
Of course, if the Cowboys are going to close the gap on the Rabbitohs, then they’ll need the Sydney side to lose, and that looks like a real challenge for a an Eels team that failed to register a single point in their defeat at the hands of the Warriors in the last round. As we’ve said, the Rabbitohs are favourites going into the game, and getting odds of $1.55 on Sportsbet right now, so their fans will be hoping they can make good on those odds and secure the win that will stop the rot and keep them near the top of a scrap for the finals spots that looks like it’s going to get pretty messy as the season draws to a close.
It goes without saying that the Cowboys could do with the points when they face the Sharks – they’re not where they want to be on the ladder just at the moment, and winning games is the only way to get themselves higher up. Cronulla might be sitting in last spot on the ladder, but with a return of two wins from their last three games, they’ve been showing signs of form. They’ll want to scrape themselves off the foot of the ladder if they can, but they’ll need to produce a performance on Friday to do it…
Make sure you’ve got all your Round 19 odds before the round starts on Friday – and we’ve got plenty more NRL odds besides!
