NRL Odds: Round One Fixtures Settled

We’re not seeing too many head-to-head NRL odds for the first round yet (it is, as we said, a good way off yet…), but there are some outrights that you might like to have a look over, now that we know how the teams with the shortest odds beside their names will be kicking off the 2015 campaign.
Perennial high-achievers the Rabbitohs and the Roosters are at the top of the table of early outright odds for the 2015 NRL season, both of them at odds of $5.00 on Sportsbet right now. The Roosters will open their campaign against the Cowboys in what pundits are already suggesting might be the stand-out game of the first round – it’ll be hot in more ways than one for the Sydney boys in Townsville! And the Roosters will already know how their neighbours have opened up their account: the Rabbitohs are one half of the first game of the 2015 season, in a break from the traditional Roosters-Rabbitohs season opener. It’s a tough task for the Broncos and their new coach to take on the reigning premiers, and there could be 50,000 fans there to see how they get on…
