NRL Round 18 Odds
July 9th, 2013 by Les HThis weekend is the deadline for NSW pair Paul Gallen and Greg Bird to bounce back from injury and get themselves back on the teamsheet for State of Origin 3, but it’s also a good-looking weekend of NRL fixtures, and there are some tempting odds on offer…
Friday night’s treat is the Broncos and the Sharks, and it should be a good way to kick the weekend off, with Cronulla favourites at $1.60 but Brisbane at a tempting $2.35. Penrith are the shorter odds on Saturday to come home from Parramatta with the spoils – the Panthers are at $1.38, where you’ll get the Eels at $3.05. Then, on Monday, we’ve got what might be the best game of the lot for the spectators. The Cowboys won’t be too happy with where they’re sitting in the table, and will want to upset any plans the Sea Eagles have of cementing that fourth spot. It’ll be closer than the ladder suggests, the bookies reckon, with North Queensland at $2.85 and Manly at $1.42…
