September 9th, 2014 by TJ DilferA breathless end to a hard-fought and intense season NRL season has given us eight finalists – and a couple of teams who will be gutted to have missed out on the finals spots, finishing in ninth and tenth with the same points as the Broncos in eighth. There were eight points between first place and tenth place on the final ladder for the season, and it was the Roosters, in the end, who nicked in to steal the minor premiership when the Eagles failed to close the season out.
