Racing Odds: Brazen Beau Looks Ahead To Melbourne Spring
August 29th, 2014 by Pom de TurfIn action this weekend in the Run To The Rose, Brazen Beau will be out for revenge against Almalad for the J.J. Atkins they contested back in June. But the sights of her trainer Chris Waller will be set on bigger prizes beyond the Run To The Rose, so he’s looking for his charge to show improvement this weekend, and to make an impact on those Racing odds through the Melbourne Spring.
The first obvious target beyond the Run To The Rose will be the Golden Rose Stakes – in which Brazen Beau could be a real chance – and Waller sounded pleased with where he finds himself at this stage: ‘it was always our intention to be running him this week. He had a trial last Saturday and he has come back from his Brisbane winter jaunt with no problems. He has come back a stronger horse again. He will be tested in terms of fitness on Saturday, but it is a nice lead-up into the Golden Rose two weeks later. The biggest concern will be a wet track, he is obviously better on top of the ground. Mentally he is a great horse to train and hopefully he can take all those positives out of that good serious preparation that he had in the winter.’
So have yourself a little look at the Racing odds we’ve got for you at the end of the link – Brazen Beau is a name that you’ll already be able to see, and it’s one that you’ll see a lot more of, too!
