Racing Odds: Godolphin Gearing Up For Melbourne Spring

August 13th, 2014 by Pom de Turf

It’s as prestigious a stable as any in racing, and the name Godolphin has become synonymous with quality horses, and with genuine contenders for the biggest races around the world – including the signature races of the Melbourne Spring Season, and the Melbourne Cup in particular. That’s quite a list of prospects for a Melbourne Spring that could have as many overseas runners as at any time in the past – and it wouldn’t be unusual for Godolphin horses to be hitting the headlines in Australia. Make sure you have an eye out for all those horses we’ve mentioned above to appear in the Racing odds for the Melbourne Cup and throughout the Spring Season: and it could be that you have a chance to see some of them in action again before they get set to leave the UK, with both Cavalryman and Ahzeemah lining up for the Lonsdale Cup at York, where Van Percy will likely contest the Ebor Handicap…
