Racing Odds: Hong Kong Preview
December 12th, 2014 by Pom de TurfAll eyes will be on Sha Tin this weekend, and it’s well worth having a look over the Racing odds for the big races set for Sunday – the Hong Kong Cup amongst them. There will be some familiar names to Australian punters involved in the high-profile race, and there might be some real value in a couple of them, too!
There’s an Australian hope in Hong Kong at the weekend, too: Buffering looks to have overcome a bit of an injury scare and will try to grab a win in the Hong Kong Sprint. The Queensland gelding had a spot of foot trouble this week but it seems to have cleared up remarkably well, and he’ll be right in the mix when they jump off. He’ll face stiff competition from Lucky Nine for the multi-million-dollar prize money, and especially from Sole Power, who is the recently-crowned Irish Sprinter of the Year, but he’s a decent chance, and Sportsbet have him at odds of $11.00.
In the Hong Kong Cup, the favourite at the moment is Designs On Rome at odds of $3.50, just ahead of Military Attack, who’s a $3.80 bet. There’s plenty more to interest you amongst those Racing odds for the big races in Hong Kong at the weekend – hit that link for all the odds you’ll need!
