State of Origin Game 2 Odds and Markets
June 17th, 2013 by adminWe’ve got one eye on the next big State of Origin clash on the 26th, even as the players run out for their clubs again this weekend, and there are lots of markets on offer at sportsbet that have caught our eye. The Blues are at $2.55 to capitalise on their success in the first game, while Queensland are more likely at $1.52 to come back strongly and level the series. We don’t know what odds you’d get for Paul Gallen being involved in a frank, physical exchange of opinions with the Maroons forwards, but we’d picked a few out below that might be worth a look…
We’re going to keep an eye on the line in the run-up to the game: currently NSW are being given 4.5 points, which is a good-sized handicap, but the line shifted in the Blues’ favour before the first game, and it might well do again as the date gets closer. On a Race To Ten Points bet, you’ll get a tempting $2.40 for NSW to reach the mark first, while Queensland are at $1.62. Save your money on a $17.00 bet that neither side reaches ten points: both sets of backs have the firepower to get there. Finally, take a look at a Total Tries bet: you’ll get $2.13 for the sides to chalk up seven tries between them, $1.68 if they don’t. The first game was a tense one, but are you betting the nerves are still there come the 26th?
