But you won’t find too many coaches (or any, if they’re being honest) who wouldn’t bite your hand off if you offered them five wins in the first five games. And the reverse is true, of course.
So spare a thought for Read the rest of this entry »

May 13th, 2013 by adminRound 8 2013 has thrown up some real mismatches, not least Hawthorn v GWS Giants in which Hawthorn are the shortest priced favourites ever for an AFL game at odds of $1.001 – a thousand to one on!
Best bets of the week at this stage look to be Gold Coast Suns at $1.63 who take on the hopeless Western Bulldogs at Metricon Stadium.
North Melbourne are firing now and look good value as they head to Perth to take on West Coast at odds of $3.10.
Elsewhere, Essendon are just $1.04 at home to Brisbane and Richmond are $1.01 against the hapless Demons. Both prices are way too short and Brisbane are worth a look with a 50.5 points start at the MCG.
More value around Port Adelaide again this week after their blip against the Tigers, Port are way too big at $3.90 to beat Carlton at the Etihad Stadium.
