Extra Zero was the early priced favourite for the Darwin Cup in the futures markets but has now drifted to odds of $7.00. Last year's runner up Bolton is priced at $9.00 but it's Spartan Eagle that has stormed to the head of the market at $4.80.

However, the most strongly fancied runner of all the field is Host Of The Party at $6.00 and likely to start much shorter due the weight of shrewd money being placed on the recent three time winner, drawn in barrier 12.

This year's Cup takes place on Monday August 5th at Darwin Racecourse. The race will be telecast live on Sky Racing TV in your local TAB (or on Foxtel) and streamed live on the SKY racing website.
