Scotland have pledged to approach Saturday's game against the Wallabies with "ambition" as they look to overcome the big odds posted by rugby bookmakers. The home side will run out at Murrayfield as underdogs, with every online rugby betting market rating Australia as the overwhelming favourites.
Scotland captain Chris Cusiter said his side will be looking to build on the 23-10 victory over Fiji last Saturday.
He said: "We are aiming to increase the intensity against Australia on Saturday. Last week, we felt we didn’t maintain the intensity in our performance in the second half.
"We realise we won't have that luxury this weekend. This week we have talked a lot about our ambition and the style which we want to play."
Even a brief drop in focus could lead to Scotland conceding points against the Wallabies, Cusiter said, adding Scotland need to "get it right from the start".
Sportsbet rates Scotland at 5.75 for the win, with Australia rated 1.13.
Australia can still go undefeated on their tour of the UK and Ireland, but their hopes of a grand slam ended with a 20-20 draw with Ireland last Saturday.
If the Wallabies do avoid defeat in their remaining games, they will become only the second Australian side to do so on a tour of Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England.
