Randwick trainer Pat Webster says the horse known as 'Puff' is in good form going into the $50,000 Hibernian Hotel Goulburn Cup today.Parfumier, the seven-year-old gelding, will be in the inside barrier with Tim Clark in the saddle and could take some of his stable yard spirit out into the track.
Webster said in a Racing New South Wales article the horse likes to run the rule over one part of his yard and bite anyone who wanders past.
“Anything, horse or people, that walks past him he usually tries to have a nip at them. Even Wayne (Webster) copped a good one (bite) that left a deep bruise.
“I can always replace a son, I’ve got a few of them, but you can’t always replace a good horse,” Webster joked in the article.
He added he was happy with the horse's form and work going into the race in which he came second to Voice Commander last year.
IASbet has Parfumier on 5.00, second favourite behind the joint first choices of Willy Jimmy and Macknuckle.
Late betting also sees Vintage Rock at 7.00, while Slick Sniper is at 8.50.
