Upheaval continues in the Caulfield Cup betting markets after high-profile withdrawals and an odds-busting barrier draw.

As of Thursday afternoon Centrebet had three horses standing as joint favourite, all on 8.50; Kirklees, Cima de Triomphe and Predatory Pricer.

Daffodil, who stood as the favourite in some markets on Wednesday, is at 9.50 with the same bookmaker.

Vigor and Allez Wonder follow on 10.00 in what has been the most unpredictable betting market of the spring so far.

International duo Cima De Triomphe and Kiklees have been attracting renewed interest since drawing barriers 11 and seven respectively.

Trainer Luca Cumani is hoping for his first win in Australia with Cima De Triomphe.

His wife Sara told the Daily Telegraph the horse, who is to be piloted by Damien Oliver, could do well thanks to the draw.

"I think it is a good gate, it gives us options," she said.

"He's a horse who likes a good, strong gallop and he likes to be no worse than midfield (on settling down)."

Godolphin horse Kirklees is reported to have been working well recently and could seal a second Caulfield Cup win for the stable after All The Good clinched it last year.
