Any gambler who had put on a sports bet for this particular match would have had no trouble if he had studied previous form.
Wolves have not had many successes against Chelsea in recent times, with previous teams giving away as much as five goals in clashes against the London stars.
Although Chelsea were playing without some of their big names, such as Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba, they still managed to record their 12th consecutive home win.
Many of the players, including Ashley Cole, played out of their usual positions in the team, which added to the quality of the victory.
Joe Cole scored his first goal for Chelsea after a 13 month dry spell, caused by injury.
The Chelsea team even fielded some young and inexperienced players; Gael Kakuta, an 18 year old French teenager, shined in particular, with his manager bestowing praise on the youngster.
Quoted by The Guardian, Ancelotti said: "He has a lot of talent and he showed in this game what he can do".
Centrebet currently have Chelsea at 1.70 to win the Championship.
