There’s a real treat in store for UFC fans down the card for August 18th, a Featherweight clash that will more than likely bring its own fireworks, and that we’ll definitely be watching. Conor McGregor is the man carrying the most hype of any fighter in the UFC at the moment, and it’s by no means just the pundits talking him up – the Irishman is anything but shy when it comes to banging his own drum! But Max Holloway could easily be a banana skin for the McGregor gravy train, as he’s a young fighter with a strong all-round game, and more than enough striking power to stop McGregor if he gets the chance.

But what are the bookies saying? On top of the odds you see above, which have McGregor as a strong $1.37 favourite, Sportsbet has some interesting markets on offer. First off, they don’t seem to think this one will go the distance, giving you $1.44 for it to end before the final bell, as opposed to $2.66 if these two need a points tally to separate them. If they do, then you’ll get $4.00 if it goes to Holloway (the shortest odds you’ll get if you’re picking his method of victory), and $4.75 if it’s McGregor’s hand that’s raised. Look out, though, for McGregor to win it by KO at $2.03 – we think that’s more than likely...
