Here’s another bout that, on an a UFC Fight Night in Atlanta that’s already packed with potentially great match-ups, could easily turn out to be the fight of the night, picking up those coveted honours for Dustin Ortiz and John Moraga.

Ortiz is a tough customer, with plenty of potential to cause problems for Moraga. He’s new to the franchise, but that will just mean that he wants to make his mark, and he’ll come out fierce to try and build more momentum on the back of his debut win over Jose Maria Tome. That was a win that sets him apart, too: Tome is a true veteran, and to get past him Ortiz must have something about him. He might be good value at $3.45...

Except that this fight will most likely be all about John Moraga. He isn’t just a great fighter to watch, but he has had some deserved success in the Flyweight Division – success that saw him get a shot at the title against ‘Mighty Mouse’. The fact that Johnson beat him really isn’t any sort of guide to this fight: the champ is one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world at the moment, and Moraga came out of that bout with some real credit. What it does mean, though, is that Moraga will be highly motivated to get himself back to winning ways, and although Ortiz is tough, and will be a difficult guy to beat, you would think that Moraga is the favourite for a reason.
