Star full-back Jarryd Hayne is hoping for another good atmosphere on Saturday as Australia look to take the spoils from their next rugby league Four Nations clash. The Kangaroos face England at the DW Stadium, Wigan, following their thrilling 20-all draw with New Zealand last weekend.
A crowd of 12,360 saw that match and twice as many are expected on Saturday to see the hosts take on the favourites.
Hayne told the official Four Nations site: "It (Saturday) was probably the best atmosphere I've played in for the number of people who were there.
Of the tie with England, he added: "It’s a high pressure game and both teams are going to want to win.
"They are going to have the benefit of the crowd and it's going to help them. It's going to be exciting times as I've never played in England so I'm looking forward to a vocal crowd."
England top the table after their win over France on Friday, meaning Australia will need a victory of their own on Saturday.
Sportsbet has Australia as the favourites for the tournament at its rugby league betting market, on 1.25, while New Zealand follow on 5.50 and England stand on 8.50.
