Rounding out the main card for UFC 169 on February 2nd is a match-up between Flyweights Ali Bagautinov and John Lineker that should be a worthy addition to the card, and which will provide a compelling spectacle, but which could be a little close to call, too. Both guys are coming into the fight with reputations that they will be looking to enhance, and it could be that whoever wins this one will become a real contender in the Flyweight division.

But it could be that the weight is the difficult thing for Lineker here. No fighter wants to make a name for himself as a guy who regularly misses weight, but that’s just the way Lineker is heading. He won’t want any distraction going into this fight, though, as he could well have the power to get past Bagautinov. The Russian will be looking to grapple where Lineker will want to trade punches, but that doesn’t mean that Bagautinov doesn’t bring a knockout threat of his own: this is a Flyweight fight that could easily end with one guy looking up at the lights!

As far as betting goes, there isn’t much to separate these two, with Bagautinov the narrow favourite at $1.75 to Lineker’s $1.99. It’s difficult to say which way this one will go, too – maybe have check back at Sportsbet between now and the fight on the 2nd to get the best value from the betting markets...
